Known Bugs

  • Player will run uncontrollably when attempting to refuel the DeLorean while Enhanced Native Trainer is installed (please use Menyoo instead if you must use a trainer; we recommend against using trainers or any other mods with BTTFV)
  • (v2.3.0+) – Languages other than English and Japanese are incomplete. Version 2.4.0 will support all languages natively.
  • Casing the Jewelry Store mission will not function correctly if you time travel before meeting up with Lester. Fail the mission intentionally to force it to reload.
  • The three digit speedometer will not save in presets/the garage. This will be fixed in 2.4.0.
  • The radio label (inside the DeLorean) will not change from ’98 LOS SANTOS FM’, even if the player has another radio station selected, it appears that Rockstar Games removed all of the Dukes Dashboard Radio functionality in one of their updates. Might be ‘fixed’ in a future update, we will see.
  • Some of the BTTF effects will not work with the Rockstar Editor. Scaleform isn’t recorded in the Editor.
  • If “Allow Independent Camera Modes” is enabled in GTAV’s settings, first-person features such as the TCD and Bulova clock will not work correctly.
  • (2.3.2) – Time travel effects do not appear on Wayback time machines. This will be fixed in 2.4.0.
  • (2.3.2) – Though the garage menu says you can buy 12 plutonium pellets, you can only actually get 5 despite spending more money. This will be fixed in 2.4.0.
  • (2.3.1+) – Bulova clock may not work properly when added the first time. This will be fixed in 2.4.0.
  • (2.3.0+) – Weather changes will reset player’s wanted level. This will be fixed in 2.4.0.
  • Remote control does not work properly with motorcycles. This will be fixed in 2.4.0.
  • Setting a waypoint to a mountainous area may cause the destination circuit function to fail. This will be fixed in 2.4.0.
  • Remote Control will crash if you previously selected a time machine other than #0 then delete time machines and try to open the remote control menu again. This will be fixed in 2.4.0.
  • Pressing ‘o’ in first-person to bring up the Bulova alarm clock settings may sometimes bring up a blank black box in the bottom-left corner instead. To fix this, open the BTTFV main menu and close it then try again. This will be fixed in 2.4.0.
